Release notes

What changed, in plain language. Newest first.

Version 1.1

Connected intelligence: your Drive, mail, and calendar in one place.

New

  • Google Drive intelligence: bring in folders and files, keep versions, and see when a document changed.
  • Gmail intelligence: read-only email understanding with the original thread kept as provenance.
  • Google Calendar intelligence: your real schedule, conflicts, and today's agenda alongside Wapo events.
  • Connected search across uploads, Drive files, and email, with filters like from: and has:attachment.
  • Connected Assistant that can answer from everything you've connected and cite the exact source.
  • Assistant file intake: drop a file into chat and Wapo files it in the right place for review.

Improved

  • Follow-through and provenance: every task, reminder, and event traces back to the document or email it came from.
  • Assistant history is now searchable, titled from your first message, and no longer creates empty conversations.
  • Reliability and security hardening across background sync, connected-account handling, and access rules.

Fixed

  • Daily Brief greeting now follows your local time instead of server time.
  • Calendar settings now reflect the real connection state shown in Sync Center.
  • Search with filters only, and links from notifications, now land on the right screen every time.

Version 1.0.1

General availability: clearer documents, steadier follow-through.

New

  • Document Intelligence card on every document, showing exactly what Wapo understood, found, and deliberately left alone.
  • Daily Brief and smart dashboard cards that lead with what matters today.
  • Help Center, release notes, and known limitations, all in the app.
  • Anonymous usage metrics (counts only, never document contents) to guide what we improve next.

Improved

  • Photos and screenshots now read reliably, with an automatic second reader if the first cannot see the page.
  • Search blends meaning, wording, and recency, and always shows the source document.
  • Background processing recovers on its own after an outage, with retries, backoff, and a give-up path that asks for review instead of looping.
  • Mobile navigation, multi-file upload, and camera capture reworked for one-handed use.
  • Errors now explain what happened and what to do next, with retry where retrying helps.

Fixed

  • Documents that finished processing but offered no next step, such as resumes, now suggest useful questions instead.
  • Sensitive details typed into AI Memory are refused politely rather than failing the page.
  • Occasional blank screen after signing in on a slow connection.

Version 1.0.0

First public beta.

New

  • Upload documents and photos, with text recognition and AI analysis.
  • Reviewable suggestions that become tasks, reminders, and calendar events with a link back to the source.
  • Follow-through engine that nudges until work is finished.
  • Assistant with semantic search across your own documents.
  • Action Center, audit history, and notification centre.
